About Me
Hey there! I’m Caitlin

I received my B.S. degree in Mathematics with a Concentration in Engineering from the University of Kansas. I went on to receive my M.A. in Counseling and Guidance, specializing in Mental Health from the University of Missouri, Kansas-City in 2019. During my time in graduate school I worked in both community mental health and private practice settings where I focused on treating athletes, individuals with eating disorders, and anxiety. I earned my clinical license in Spring 2022

Since graduation in 2019, I have worked in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programming for eating disorders, as well as private practice. In my private practice, I work with young adults and adolescents who are dealing with eating disorders, life transitions, peer concerns, anxiety, and depression. In 2020, I completed Level 1 training in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy and I aim to bring some of this training into sessions regularly.

Since I expect my clients to be open with me, I aim to be open with you! I am a professional who recovered from her own eating disorder- this means that I have been in your seat, and I try to consistently keep in mind what it is like to be the client. I was born and raised in the Kansas City area. My favorite colors are neon pink and glitter (YES glitter is a color), and on an off day I like to chill out by watching an old Disney movie or Harry Potter. I have been involved in dance in some manner or another since I was 2 years old. I am a mom of identical twin girls. I LOVE to sew.
